Omart is a digital product that aims to solve the inconveniences accompanied by the shopping experience in the supermarket.
From preparing the shopping list to the supermarket exit door - Omart offers an end-to-end fun and easy shopping experience.
Omart operates as an application on two platforms: mobile phones - which is used by the customer on his private mobile - and iPads - which is also used by the customer but installed on supermarket carts. Each of the platforms performs different roles in order to provide a complete and continuous experience.

How Omart solve the pains that Daniel experiences while he shopping in the supermarket?
He always forgets to buy some of the products
Daniel can create a shopping list through the mobile app, which will also be displayed on the cart iPad in the supermarket and will show him all the products he needs to buy.
He accidentally buys products of a different label than the one his wife asked him to buy
In the mobile app, there is an option to create a collaborative shopping list into which his wife can add the products she wants. The products are shown as images which make it easier to identify them in the supermarket.
He wastes lots of time by making a million rounds to find where the toilet paper is.
A navigation map on the cart iPad will guide him through the supermarket efficiently based on his shopping list.
He faces long wait times for checkout, even at the digital station.
Both the product scanning and the payments are done through the mobile app, so there is no need to wait in any unnecessary lines.
Step 1 : creating a collaborative shopping list
In the first step, the user creates a shopping list, which can be shared with others, and selects a shopping purpose, allowing Omart to provide product recommendations based on their choice.
Step 2 : adding products to the new list
After creating a shopping list, the user can add products by searching, selecting from categories, or uploading an image of the item.
Step 3 : arriving to the supermarket
Upon arriving at the supermarket, the user connects their mobile to the cart reader, synchronizing their shopping list to the cart's iPad. The iPad displays a navigation map with product locations optimized for efficiency, while the mobile app opens a scanner for easy product check-out. Users can view and adjust their shopping list and bill through the ‘My cart’ option.
Step 4 : Paying the bill and checking out
Upon finishing shopping, the user selects ‘End shopping’ to view and finalize the bill on their mobile app. They can then choose to ‘pay’ the total amount or ‘split’ it among members, adding new payers if needed. After payment, a barcode is displayed on the screen, which must be scanned at the supermarket exit.
